Bringing in the Catch
Bringing in the CatchExploring Plymouth's Sutton Harbour, showing the essence of the place. Initial response was to spend the day at the harbour drawing in situ, documenting and taking in all the sights, smells and sounds. Medium used is lino and thread as the textured print quality lends itself well to capture the physical nature of the harbour, I used thread instead of a printed line as I wanted the line to flow through the work representing the nets of the harbour. Shortlisted for AOI: World Illustration Awards
